Our staff of pet care professionals have been thoroughly screened and background checked to make sure we hire the best. They have passed Pet First Aid and CPR Certifications as well as an extensive training program with both coursework and hands-on training before being assigned their first job. They are dedicated to the compassionate care of your pets and our companies mission and values.
We support our team by providing ongoing education and 24/7 assistance when needed. We use a team approach; this provides our employees with a support network. Whether it’s another care provider, their supervisor, or the owner, there will always be someone to call should they need assistance or advise. Our collaborative approach fosters strong bonds with your pets, earning their trust over time and ensures we will be there to care for your pets. Our shared knowledge will give you peace of mind knowing that your pets will consistently receive high-quality care.
The Owner
Kim Stradone started Furbabies RVA in 2016 after retiring from 30 years as a
hairdresser. Her experience in hairdressing has honed her knowledge in how to provide exceptional customer care. This background has set the tone for our customized care approach. Furbabies RVA doesn’t use a one size fits all model. Our approach is family specific, taking our time to understand your pets’ needs, providing conscientious care, allowing your pets to sniff, play, and get comfortable with us.
Furbabies RVA has brought a lot of new experiences into Kim’s life. The connections Kim has developed with every pet along the way and loving them as if they were her own was an unexpected bonus. There is absolute joy in coming back to a home to see a familiar friend. She loves seeing a pup succeed in a training exercise, having a shy cat warm up to her, and adores cuddling your pets. She is so grateful for the company of your pets and the love they share with her!
Theories on pet care and training change dramatically over the years and Kim continues to stay on top of the information and learn new methods. She believes education is instrumental to keeping your pets healthy and safe. Her team shares her mission and is dedicated to providing your pets with the best possible care.
